The wake behind Connie

History

This timeline pulls together the defensible public record I could find for Anna-Cornelia: current London listings, older broker traces, dated sales coverage, archive checks, and Dutch register name matches. The earlier name Loosdrecht is included as a reported lead only, because I have not yet found an archival register entry that independently confirms that rename chain.

Research note

Reported former name: Loosdrecht

The Loosdrecht name is plausible, but it remains unverified from the sources currently in hand. Until a Dutch archival ship register, meetbrief, or ownership chain confirms it, it should be treated as a reported former name rather than a settled fact.

1915

Built in the Netherlands

Multiple modern sale listings describe Anna-Cornelia as a Dutch barge built in 1915 in the Netherlands. That is the earliest date in the public material I was able to verify directly.

Converted by a previous Dutch owner

Aquavista's current broker page says Anna-Cornelia was originally converted to her present residential format at substantial expense by a previous Dutch owner. Homes & Property's 14 June 2017 feature shows the residential conversion had been completed by then.

Aquavista lists Anna-Cornelia at Limehouse Marina

Aquavista currently lists Anna-Cornelia at Limehouse Waterside & Marina for GBP 195,000. The page describes a 1915 Dutch Barge, 69 ft by 13 ft 5 in, with a DAF 6-cylinder diesel engine and says the vessel was originally converted to its present format by a previous Dutch owner.

Research summary

What is verified

Anna-Cornelia is being marketed as a 1915 Dutch barge in London.
The vessel appears in modern London residential boat sales material.
Aquavista ties the modern conversion story to a previous Dutch owner.
Later broker mirrors preserve dimensions, passenger/berth counts, displacement, max speed, engine details, and a 1,200 litre fuel tank for a London mooring listing.
Aquavista's current page confirms a DAF 6-cylinder diesel engine, Limehouse Waterside & Marina mooring, and a current GBP 195,000 asking price.

Research summary

What is still unverified

The earlier name Loosdrecht has not yet been confirmed by an archival Dutch register entry.
I have not yet found a meetbrief, ENI, build number, or ownership chain that joins the Dutch working life to the London residential listing with certainty.
Name-only matches for Anna Cornelia are risky because several vessels share that name in Dutch records.
Wayback Machine CDX checks for the known DailyBoats listing URL and the current Standard article URL did not return archived captures during this search.
